Clinical Social Workers

I am the Founder of Sturrup Counselling & Consulting and a Clinical Specialist registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW). I believe that taking the step to seek therapy is an act of courage and self-care. My role is to provide a supportive and empowering space where you can explore challenges, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful growth and healing.

As an African Nova Scotian social worker, my work is deeply rooted in community, cultural identity, and collective resilience. The history, strength, and lived experiences of my ancestors continue to shape my commitment to creating spaces grounded in dignity, empowerment, and transformation.

Through Sturrup Counselling & Consulting, I am dedicated to fostering resilience, promoting emotional wellness, and supporting individuals, families, and communities in building sustainable change. I approach every interaction with empathy, integrity, and intention, guided by the belief that when individuals are strengthened, communities grow stronger.
